Notes From The Artist
The Kirkwood (Missouri) Farmers Market is a favorite touchstone when I'm visiting there in the fall. Of course the pumpkins show off their bright orange colors and unique shapes. I "scratched" the tree into the painting with an Exacto knife. It created the pebbly texture I was looking for. I also used watercolor pencils and crayons to create some of the details in the trunk and in the flowers. PRICE $250, plus shipping and tax where applicable.
